Who we are

We are a team that is responsible for analyzing both domestic and international automotive markets, as well as the broader macroeconomic environment surrounding these markets, as the think tank of Hyundai Motor Company.
We identify new market opportunities, thereby providing foresight to guide executive decision-making.
In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing mobility markets in key regions, along with factors that influence these markets. Factors include economic/policy/trade and commerce/political/geopolitical relations.

Responsibilities

This role is responsible of conducting in-depth research on information related to India's politics/economy/trade/geopolitical landscape.
You will conduct detailed analysis to enhance better understanding of India, and identify strategic directions and business opportunities within the mobility market, as well as analyze potential risks.
Ultimately, the insights gained will help develop the Group's strategy for India.

■ India Studies
　· Conducting regional analysis of India's political, economical, social, and cultural landscape
　　- Prospect social/macroscopic changes due to economic change, including economic growth and population change
　　- Analysis of regional political/economical/social/religious characteristics, along with geopolitical issues and relations with other countries, and forecasting changes in global roles/status
　· Building a Network of India Experts
　　- Collaborate with external research organizations, industry stakeholders and government officials

■ Analysis of India's Mobility Market
　· Studying strategies to enhance competitiveness in India's mobility market
　　- Research to aim at developing strategies to strengthen brand awareness and expand M/S
　　- Research strategies to maintain a competitive advantage in response to the rapid growth of local Indian brands
　· Studying the future direction of India's mobility market
　　- Study long-term strategies for the electric vehicle market and the establishment of an electric vehicle ecosystem
　　- Study market forecasts such as connectivity, mobility services, etc.

Minimum qualifications

· Master's degree in Economics, Business Administration, and International Studies
· Minimum 5 years of experience in regional research
· Proven knowledge of data collection methods and data analysis
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Excellent presentation skills and ability to write research reports
· Proficiency in English (fluent in both written and oral business communication)
· Those who are not disqualified from traveling abroad (for men, those who have completed military service by the date of join or have been exempted)

Preferred qualifications

· Minimum 8 years of India-related research experience
· Individuals with experience in studying/teaching/conducting research in India
· Knowledge and experiences of project management
· Native proficiency in English (fluent in both written and oral)
· Proficiency in other languages
